August 2025 Tarotscope
A collective tarot reading for August 2025, plus a 3-card pull for what each zodiac sign can expect this month!
Happy August and happy first of the month! 💛✨
Looking back at July’s collective tarotscope, everything seemed to unfold similar to how I sensed it would for the collective!
Personally, this past month brought a slower pace than I hoped for, but it allowed for a deeper reflection on just how much I, my life, and the people around me have already transformed.
I celebrated my 27th birthday and truly felt myself mentally shift into a new chapter of life with a new level of understanding and maturity.

“The reversed Three of Pentacles points to strained teamwork, conflict in groups, misaligned goals, or the realization that you may thrive by working independently.”
“At the bottom of the deck sat Anger Management and Insecure. Tend to your emotional body. Manage insecurities, especially those tied to your voice and self‑expression. Things may come to a head this month, so choose your words carefully, yet do not hold back.”
For July, I spoke about conflict within groups, and last month I experienced what it’s like to handle it with clarity, care, and real resolution. It was the first time I’ve truly navigated conflict in a way that felt aligned and not avoidant, and it showed me just how much I’ve grown.
I also had a moment of truth with myself. I really do thrive in solitude, more than I used to admit. And while that realization feels like a big exhale for my soul, I know it might shift what others expect from me or how they’re used to experiencing me. But I’m learning to honor what I need without guilt, and that feels like growth.
Mercury retrograde in Leo has been a mirror. It slowed me down just enough to notice how I’ve been speaking up for myself, and when that fire might actually be fueled by insecurity instead of love. I’m learning to express my truth with more softness, more intention, and more trust in my voice. That alone has been powerful.
How did July go for you?

The Collective

For the collective energy of August, we received 17: PERFECTION, a card that invites us to dream boldly about our passions and dreams. It’s supported by the 4 of Wands and 9 of Cups, which point toward a future filled with abundance, community, and celebration—a true homecoming, a sense of destiny unfolding. At the same time, this energy reminds us that before reaching that joy, we’ll need to face and move through the challenges of our deepest fears and wounds.
“Meet them and conquer them. What pain from childhood have you not dealt with? Move into the wound of your most secret fears, and find the seeds of wisdom that are planted there. Face what upsets you the most; it is a great teacher.”
Some of these challenges may stem from issues within the home or wounds that trace back to childhood, as suggested by The Sun reversed. It also points to struggles with mental health, like depression, or feeling stuck in a dark and stormy place where it’s hard to see the light ahead. But the warmth of the Sun is just around the corner. Perhaps Spirit is encouraging you to learn how to find moments of light and joy right where you are now.
With the Ace of Cups reversed, The Star, and the 6 of Swords reversed, the message is clear: the path to success lies through healing—facing your fears and embracing change, starting internally before it shows up externally.
August invites us to embrace our perfectionist selves, but not to criticize or control. Instead, it’s about working through the blockages and self-sabotaging habits that might be holding us back. This is the tough, messy work that can feel uncomfortable in the moment but ultimately opens the door to a brighter future. Much of this process takes place in the emotional realm, with its healing rippling down into our mental patterns and helping us break free from what feels like a stagnant cycle.
“Give away whatever is holding you back—insecurities, ego, fear of failure or of not being loved, fear of being alone—and be reborn into a new state of perfection.”
With Already Knowing the Tea reversed, it feels like there’s a call to move forward with more caution and less ego or “know-it-all” energy. You might be realizing that the pride you carried before played a role in the breakdown of something important in your life. It’s time to be honest with ourselves about the lessons we still need to learn and incorporate. Now that we know better, we have to choose to do better.
We hold the power to manifest what we desire, but we can’t spiritually bypass the work required to receive it. August carries a karmic vibe. Think of the infinity symbol, the number 8 representing abundance—the abundance we receive depends on what we’re willing to give. With Distance and Gambling at the top of the deck, know that risks are part of closing the gap between you and your manifestations. Are you ready to take the gamble? How much are you willing to bet? Have past lessons from previous risks been learned, or are you caught in a repeating cycle?
Maybe the real risk is breaking free and choosing something different, as the advice card suggests. It points toward breaking free from the “tribe”—whether that means family, friends, your workplace, or societal expectations.
“This isn’t easy, but it’s very necessary if you’re going to share your true self with others. Be brave. Be real. Be you. And trust that those who love you will always be there for you.”
Confession and Caution, both reversed at the bottom of the deck, tell me it’s time to come clean with yourself about something important. What does Ice Cube say? Check yourself before you wreck yourself.
Caution showed up reversed in the previous oracle deck too, which suggests there could be a blockage the collective is struggling to see or release right now. It’s important to be aware of the potential long-term consequences of holding onto what’s trying to be released and shoving down what actually needs to be accepted and expressed.
With all these retrogrades happening, things are naturally slowing down to give us space to reflect. It’s a time to ask yourself if you’re truly ready and willing to step into the next chapter of your life.
