Good afternoon, divine collective!

Y’all feeling this eclipse energy yet? 👀🌚 Because I’m about to talk about it! But first… let’s talk about today’s Virgo Moon on its own, because it wasted absolutely no time making itself known in my reality.

Thank you for being here💛 The Divine Vitality is a reader-supported publication. Every interaction and subscription, free or paid, helps me sustain my readings, reflections, and insights with intentional, grounded care✨.

The Moon moved into Virgo, meaning our Waxing Gibbous is now building up to tomorrow’s Virgo Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse at 6:37 AM EST, and the first thing I opened my eyes to was… cat pee in my bed again… and this time, a little poop on the floor for added dramatic effect😂 (I moved her litter box to try and get her more comfortable using the one our other cats use, so I mean… it’s to be expected.)

And I just sat there like… wow. Okay—so this is what we’re doing today.

Because if you understand Virgo energy, you understand that it rules cleanliness, order, the details of our daily life, the systems we maintain, the routines that keep our world functioning… and it will very quickly show you where something is out of alignment, out of order, or needs attention.

So when I say I woke up and immediately understood the assignment, I mean that literally. This energy is not subtle, especially for those of us born with major Virgo placements.

Virgo is the natural ruler of the sixth house, and it’s also ruled by Mercury, which is currently retrograde in Pisces, so this energy is very much giving… clean this up, handle that, adjust those, fix these, refine this, rethink that… but also—and this is the part people forget about Virgo—learn to accept what is imperfect without spiraling about it.

Because here’s the thing… I did get anxious, I felt frustrated, and I definitely started to spiral a little. I’m not great with unexpected changes or surprises lol.

However, I didn’t let it derail my entire day. I cleaned it, I laughed, and I stayed committed to the goals I set for myself last night. I’m not running back to smoking out of stress, I’m not wasting time sitting in frustration, I’m still grounding myself, getting in the shower, and showing up for the customers God blessed me with today, and that’s all that’s being asked of me!

That right there is the real Virgo medicine:

Handling what’s in front of you with presence, without letting it pull you out of alignment.

Because a lot of us may have woken up feeling a little… on edge. Right before the Moon even entered Virgo, its position in Leo opposed Mars in Aquarius around 7:27 AM EST just as it was preparing to move into Pisces.

That opposition can feel like a sudden tension between your emotional needs and your drive to act. Mars in Aquarius wants freedom, independence, and to do things its own way, while the Moon in Leo wants recognition, comfort, and a sense that life is stable enough to feel safe.

So overnight, there could have been this internal push and pull… part of you wanting to go with the flow, part of you wanting control, part of you wanting to be left alone, and part of you wanting things to go exactly how you envisioned them.

Exactly what I felt toward my cat Cleo😂

Then, just after that, the Moon squared Uranus in Taurus around 3:35 AM EST, which adds the element of unpredictability.

Uranus in Taurus shakes up routines, comforts, and the things we rely on to feel grounded, so when the Moon hits it, the emotional body can become hyperaware of anything that feels unstable, inconvenient, or out of place. It’s that feeling of wanting peace and order while life throws a random disruption in your path, causing you to adjust.
