I’m hoping a lot of us are walking into July feeling a little lighter, because June asked a lot of us. It was the month we were meant to stop waiting for things to change on their own and start trusting ourselves—and divine timing—enough to make the moves ourselves. If you actually did that work, July is where you start seeing the payoff…
This upcoming month isn’t asking us to keep proving ourselves to everyone who’s presumably watching. It’s inviting us to come home to ourselves and remember what makes each of us uniquely worth paying attention to in the first place.
What July 2026 is calling us toward:
Individuality and Time
When I sat down to pull this month’s theme, I drew two cards instead of one—and honestly, the first one didn’t feel very welcome. Something in me wanted to put it right back, but I resisted the urge and decided to pull another card instead.
The irritation I felt toward that first card—INDIVIDUALITY—might echo what some people in the collective feel when they realize their focus doesn’t need to be on others and how they’re being perceived, but instead on how they perceive themselves and why.
How was your sense of self formed?
Individuality is about taking our power by existing fully within our own perspective instead of borrowing someone else’s eyes to see ourselves through. The second theme card was TIME—how we use it, what we’re obsessed with, and what it means to intentionally arrange our days around what matters instead of letting time just happen to us.
Put those two together, and you get July 2026!
The focus this month is on how we’re using our time, our routines, our daily habits, and whether those choices are actually rooted in what matters to us or from what social media, peers, and even family have quietly trained us to value. We’re going to be doing a lot of separating our self-image and worth from other people’s assumptions and opinions this month. Not in a defensive way, just in a “I know who I am now” kind of way. We’re gaining our power back by choosing to see ourselves as who we already know ourselves to be, not as how anyone else has framed us.
What’s Coming…
The cards I pulled for what’s coming this month point to a few overlapping themes. There’s a strong current of travel running through July, either for some of us personally or for someone close to us. That tracks with it being summertime here, but these plans feel like they could carry significant weight.
There’s also a theme of quick decisions and fast manifestations. With this Mercury retrograde in Cancer happening for most of the month, it makes sense to think certain choices through very carefully. Decisions we make now could end up shifting our lives in significant ways, especially when connected to our emotions and feelings.
Take note if your travel plans start to feel more pressured and obligatory than natural—like you’re saying yes out of guilt, fear of missing out, or a desire to keep certain dynamics intact. If so, the impulse might be rooted in something codependent rather than in what’s truly aligned for you. It’s worth gently checking in with yourself if that resonates.
A lot of us are also going to be looking more honestly at how and why we’ve been making certain decisions from places of impulsivity, defensiveness, and a lack of self-control. I’m seeing a real release of victim mentality this month—clarity is arriving, but it’s coming in after many of us have faced the ways we’ve been dishonest with ourselves rather than blaming our circumstances or other people. Clearing that fog is what closes the gap between us and moving toward what we actually want.
There’s a wave of self‑empowerment coming through that feels really good because it’s something that’s blooming from within. I’m proud of this collective!!! We’re calling in higher levels and dynamics of everything we’ve been experiencing and dealing with for years now, so buckle up and open up, because it’s time to receive!
July feels like a BIG month for love and connection. I’m seeing new and renewed friendships, leaps of faith toward healing, and people stepping into healthier romantic situations after pulling back from rejection wounds or old sensitivities. There’s also a theme of longing, yearning for connections we tend to sabotage or push away from out of fear, but that fear is losing its grip on us. This ties back to Mercury retrograde in Cancer: collectively, we’re being invited to notice our own pride, ego, or stubbornness in the places we’ve been avoiding that kind of reflection.
For some, this looks like honestly facing and repairing emotional wounds we’re still carrying, whether we want to or not. Maybe you’re missing someone, projecting an old wounds onto someone new, or spiraling because you crave something you don’t yet have. Either way, this reflection is about breaking habitual cycles rooted in fear of commitment, trust, and vulnerability, the kind that has us jumping ship before the other person gets the chance to. This shows up in relationships of every kind, platonic, familial, and romantic.
The advice coming through is to beat self-doubt: the constant questioning, the feeling stuck, the fear of moving forward. Examine that in yourself this month, and hold your judgments of others loosely too, because what you’re seeing in them might just be your own self-doubt looking back at you. The boxes you put yourself in and the limiting beliefs you tell yourself need not stay. Don’t let fear take over the wheel. You have the strength to see this through, even if it comes down to the wire.
There’s a strong “last-minute” energy running through July, so don’t be surprised if plans fall through or change suddenly (especially travel), if you experience a sudden tower moment, or if something shifts or finally clicks toward the end of the month. It doesn’t have to be scary, but I’m getting the sense that certain things will be forcefully shaken up this month if we don’t do the necessary rearranging ourselves.

If anger, bitterness, or resentment is clouding things, this is the month to pull the evidence and receipts back out, not to dismiss your emotions in favor of logic, but to bring the two into balance.
Maybe there’s a friendship you’ve outgrown but keep holding onto out of comfort, or a partner who says all the right things while the evidence (the dismissiveness, the gaslighting, the pattern of not showing up) tells a different story. Maybe you do need to compromise, to listen more closely, or to recognize that a situation is actually exactly what you asked for—it just comes with the realization that you also have to practice giving what you now have the opportunity to receive. The receipts are a reminder to step out of your own head and let things be as they are, not as you’re choosing to see them.
