Today we’re moving through a Waxing Gibbous Moon in Cancer, and this one might feel extra personal!
The Waxing Gibbous phase is where we refine, adjust, and check in with what we started earlier in the cycle.
In Cancer, that process becomes emotional, intuitive, and centered around what actually makes us feel safe, supported, and cared for. Cancer is ruled by the Moon, so its energy is amplified. We feel things more deeply, we remember more, we crave comfort more, and we become a lot more aware of what’s going on in our inner world!
So this isn’t just a “feel your feelings” energy… this is a “your feelings are the guidance system” energy.

For me, this focus is then amplified by my Mars and Venus in Cancer as well. So it really drives my focus toward who and what I love and value, how I feel emotionally nurtured by them, and what kind of love and nurturing is fair for me to reciprocate. It also touches my drive, motivation, and any possible resentment toward this theme in my life (which has definitely been majorly uprooted since the Solar Eclipse in Aquarius).
And let me tell you… I already woke up an emotional wreck😭
I couldn’t stay asleep through the night, we are officially in Mercury retrograde, and the way I only woke up early was because my cat literally peed in my bed… like if that’s not PEAK watery Cancer Moon energy, I don’t know what is. Very watery, cleansing, releasing, and all in the comfort of my bed… all of it, all at once.
So I’m planning on giving myself some grace and ease today, tending to my space, and moving a little slower and softer.
