Weekly Energetic Forecast: May 18th–24th, 2026
Mars in Taurus. Venus in Cancer. Slow down and feel more, because this is the week we arrive.
Welcome back, divine tribe!✨
I hope everyone was able to get some rest after the (possibly) hectic weekend we just had with the New Moon in Taurus and Mercury returning to one of its ruling signs, Gemini, because the energy this week is urging us to feel everything fully and move with intention. We’re not rushing, we’re landing. And I’m so glad to have Earth Fire Flow Tarot back with me for this one, offering an affirmation for each rising sign in the paid section below! If you’ve been here before, you already know the magic she brings. If you’re new, you’re in for a treat.💛
Let’s get into it!
THE WEEK AHEAD
***All times listed are EST***
Monday sets the whole tone for this week, and it does it fast.
Mars moves into Taurus at 6:26 pm, which is a pretty significant shift after its time in Aries. Our drive, ambition, and how we take action slow way down, but in the best possible way! Taurus Mars isn’t lazy, it’s deliberate. We’re thinking longer term now, we’re building, we’re pacing ourselves.
Just a few hours later, Venus enters Cancer at 9:05 pm (my Venus return purrr), followed immediately by the Moon entering Cancer at 9:46 and conjuncting Venus almost right away. That’s a lot of emotional water entering the room at once. Venus in Cancer is soft, nourishing, protective, and deeply personal. We want to feel safe in our relationships, in our homes, in our bodies, and in our financial foundations. That moon-Venus conjunction happening Monday night is genuinely tender. It’s a good night to be close to people you trust or to nurture yourself.
Tuesday brings some mental activity early on.
Mercury in Gemini sextiles Neptune in Aries just after midnight, which softens the way we’re thinking and communicating. There might be some creative inspiration and intuition available if you’re up early enough to use it, the kind that comes in that half-asleep, half-awake space. Or try keeping a journal by your pillow as you sleep, for any revealing dreams! Venus sextiles Mars at 1:36 am, the two benefics in compatible signs working together harmoniously. Relationships, creative work, and sensual pleasure all have some flow behind them through the night.
At 11:44 am, Mercury squares the North and South Nodes, which can bring a decision point or some mental friction around the direction we’re heading versus where we’ve come from. There may be information that doesn’t sit quite right or a conversation that asks us to reckon with something. Mercury then trines Pluto retrograde in Aquarius at 6:52 pm, which actually helps us dig deeper into that tension. We can come out with some real clarity rather than the usual surface-level answers. The squares to Neptune and Saturn the Moon makes overnight, and in the afternoon, can add some emotional heaviness or cloudiness, but these are relatively brief.
Wednesday morning is worth noting.
The moon conjuncts Jupiter in Cancer at 9:26 am and then goes void of course, which is a genuinely expansive emotional moment. Jupiter in Cancer is already amplifying our need for belonging, security, and nourishment, and the moon touching it can feel like a brief window of real emotional abundance or gratitude. Lean into that before it goes quiet for the day. The Sun enters Gemini at 8:37 pm, which will shift our collective focus toward curiosity, communication, ideas, and connection over the next month. We’re moving out of Taurus season’s slower, sensory energy into something quicker and more mentally engaging!
Thursday is fairly quiet…
… besides the Moon in Leo opposing Pluto retrograde in Aquarius at 8:01 am, which can stir up some internal tension around power, control, or feeling unseen. A Leo moon wants to be felt and expressed, Pluto retrograde in Aquarius can make that feel restricted or complicated by collective or systemic dynamics. It’s not necessarily dramatic, but you may notice the push-pull. The moon goes void of course Thursday evening, around 6 pm, and stays that way until very early Saturday morning, so Thursday night and all of Friday are not the best times to launch anything or make major moves.
Friday’s biggest transit is the Sun conjuncting Uranus in Gemini at 10:26 am.
This is a moment of sudden insight, disruption, or liberation in how we think, speak, or connect. Uranus is unpredictable, and cazimis here can bring loud, bold, or unexpected events, news, or internal breakthroughs. Because they’re in Gemini, it could show up as a conversation that changes something, information that comes out of nowhere, or a sudden shift in perspective.
Mercury also sextiles Saturn in Aries at 2:02 pm, which helps us ground whatever is sparked on Friday morning into something more structured and actionable. That’s a useful combo! Venus trines the North Node and sextiles the South Node at 6:41 pm, which is a lovely, supportive aspect for relationships and for our paths forward. Whatever Venus in Cancer represents for you in terms of home, family, love, or emotional security, it’s getting a nod from the nodal axis that feels aligned.
Saturday morning is our week’s action point.
The Moon enters Virgo at 2:57 am, ending the VOC. In its First Quarter phase, the Moon perfects when it squares the Sun in Gemini. This is the moment where we have to make a choice about what we’re building and actually do something with it. Virgo moon wants to organize, refine, and make things practical. Gemini sun is full of ideas. The tension between them asks us to stop spinning and commit to something concrete.
Sunday wraps the week.
The waxing gibbous Moon squares Mercury in Gemini at 6:05 am, which might bring some mental restlessness or miscommunication if we’re not grounded. The more meaningful energy arrives in the evening when Mars in Taurus sextiles the North Node and trines the South Node at 7:51 pm. This is significant because it connects our forward momentum, especially anything we’ve started building since Mars entered Taurus on Monday, directly to our soul’s direction. There’s alignment between the way we’re taking action and where we’re actually meant to be going. The Sun sextiles Neptune in Aries at 10:21 pm, which softens everything out and opens up some inspiration and spiritual receptivity before we head into the next week. The moon goes void of course Sunday evening and stays that way into Monday morning, so let Sunday be a rest and integration day rather than a push.

ARIES RISING
7 of Swords Reversed
The 7 of Swords reversed is asking you to come clean with yourself or someone else. Schemes, avoidance, and half-truths aren’t going to hold this week. Monday’s Venus entering your 3rd house and Mars entering your 2nd sets a grounded, values-driven tone early on. Tuesday’s Mercury squaring the nodes hits your communication and money houses directly, so if there’s a conversation you’ve been sidestepping around resources or a relationship, it’s coming up whether you initiate it or not. Mercury trining Pluto Tuesday evening gives you the depth to actually handle it. The Uranus cazimi on Friday in your 3rd house could bring a sudden revelation through a conversation or piece of information. Venus trining the North Node Friday evening is nudging you toward honesty as the path forward, not strategy. The First Quarter Moon on Saturday is a call to act on what you’ve uncovered. Sunday’s Mars sextiling the North Node from your 2nd house confirms that building something real, on solid ground, is the move.
Aries Rising Affirmation:
“I choose honesty over avoidance. I trust that clear communication, grounded values, and truthful action are leading me toward something real and lasting.”
TAURUS RISING
The Emperor Reversed
The Emperor reversed is a check on control, specifically where you might be gripping too tightly or operating from a place of insecurity rather than actual authority. Mars entering your 1st house Monday is your personal reactivation, but it’s Taurus Mars energy, slow, intentional, embodied. You don’t need to force anything this week. Tuesday’s Mercury squaring the nodes activates your 2nd house of money and values. A financial decision or conversation may feel stuck, and that’s the reversed Emperor showing up. Venus sextiling Mars in the early hours of Tuesday is a moment of genuine harmony between what you want and how you’re moving. The Sun entering Gemini Wednesday, moves into your 2nd house and shines a light on your resources. The Uranus cazimi on Friday could bring an unexpected financial shift or a new perspective on what you actually value. Mercury sextiling Saturn on Friday helps you ground that into a real plan. Sunday’s Mars sextiling the North Node from your 1st house is confirmation that you’re building in the right direction, just let go of the white-knuckle approach.
Taurus Rising Affirmation:
“I release the need to control every outcome. I trust my pace, honor my values, and build stability through grounded, intentional action.”
GEMINI RISING
8 of Pentacles Reversed
The 8 of Pentacles reversed isn’t saying you’re lazy, it’s saying the hustle isn’t working the way you’ve been doing it. There may be a skill you’re refining in the wrong direction, or you’re putting effort into something that’s no longer the right fit. The Sun entering your 1st house on Wednesday is your season beginning, a natural reset of identity and direction. The Uranus cazimi on Friday is in your 1st house too, and this one could genuinely shake something loose in how you see yourself or what you want. Mercury, your ruler, is active all week in your 1st house, squaring the nodes on Tuesday, which means a real crossroads is present around your path and purpose. Mercury trining Pluto Tuesday evening gives you the depth to transform that friction into clarity. Venus entering your 2nd house on Monday brings some warmth to your finances and self-worth. Venus trining the North Node on Friday is a subtle confirmation that what you value is pointing you toward where you’re meant to go. The First Quarter Moon Saturday from your 4th house asks you to make a decision rooted in your foundation, not just what looks productive.
Gemini Rising Affirmation:
“I release what no longer aligns with who I’m becoming. I trust my evolving path, honor my true values, and allow clarity to guide my next steps.”
CANCER RISING
Ace of Cups
The Ace of Cups is a new emotional beginning, and it lands in the most personal week you’ve had in a while. Venus entering your 1st house Monday night, with the Moon joining her almost immediately, is you stepping into your own magnetic field. You’re open, you’re present, and people feel it. This card is asking you to receive, which might actually be the harder part for you. Tuesday’s Venus sextiling Mars from your 1st to your 11th house brings harmony between your personal energy and your community or goals. Mercury squaring the nodes on Tuesday touches your 12th and 6th houses, so there may be some internal processing or a health and routine matter that needs a decision. Jupiter in your 1st house gets that Moon conjunction on Wednesday morning, and the emotional expansion there is real. Let yourself feel the fullness of it. The Uranus cazimi on Friday activates your 12th house, so a behind-the-scenes breakthrough or spiritual download is possible. Venus trining the North Node on Friday from your 1st house is the astrological Ace of Cups confirmation. You’re being called toward emotional authenticity as your actual path forward. Sunday’s Sun sextiling Neptune softens everything out beautifully for rest and integration.
Cancer Rising Affirmation:
“I open myself to receiving love, clarity, and emotional renewal. I trust my heart, honor my sensitivity, and allow authenticity to guide my path.”
LEO RISING
5 of Swords
The 5 of Swords is a card about conflict and its aftermath. Someone wins, someone loses, and usually everyone walks away a little bruised. This week, it’s pointing at your 12th house Venus energy and Thursday’s Moon in your 1st, opposing Pluto in your 7th. There’s a tension in a partnership or relational dynamic that may resurface, and the question the 5 of Swords is asking is whether winning the argument is actually worth what it costs. Monday’s Mars entering your 10th house of career is a productive placement; you’re building your public life with steadiness now. Tuesday’s Mercury squaring the nodes activates your 11th and 5th houses, so a conversation within your community or around a creative pursuit may hit a friction point. Mercury trining Pluto Tuesday evening gives you real depth to work with if you’re willing to go there honestly. The Uranus cazimi on Friday is in your 11th house, so something unexpected could shift in a friendship or collective situation. Venus trining the North Node from your 12th house on Friday is quiet but significant. The path forward for you this week involves releasing the need to be right. The First Quarter Moon on Saturday is in your 2nd house, asking for a practical financial decision. Sunday’s Mars sextiling the North Node from your 10th is affirming the career and public life work you’re putting in.
Leo Rising Affirmation:
“I choose peace over power struggles. I release the need to prove myself and trust that honesty, maturity, and grounded action lead me toward true alignment.”
VIRGO RISING
The Lovers
The Lovers isn’t always romantic; it’s about alignment and the choices that come from it. This week, the question being asked of you is whether what you’re choosing actually reflects your values, or whether you’re choosing based on what feels safe or expected. Monday’s Venus entering your 11th house and Mars entering your 9th sets up a week with both social warmth and a hunger for expansion. Tuesday’s Mercury squaring the nodes lands in your 10th and 4th houses, a real tension between your public life and your private world. Something about your career direction versus your home or emotional foundation is asking for a decision. Mercury trining Pluto Tuesday evening helps you see beneath the surface of that. The Sun entering Gemini on Wednesday activates your 10th house of career and public image, bringing Gemini season’s curious, communicative energy to your professional life. The Uranus cazimi on Friday is in your 10th house too, and something unexpected in your career or reputation could shift. Venus trining the North Node on Friday from your 11th house is gorgeous for your community and the connections that are moving you forward. The First Quarter Moon Saturday is in your 1st house, squaring the Sun in your 10th, which is the Lovers card made literal. Who you are versus what you’re building publicly. Choose alignment. Sunday’s Mars sextiling the North Node from your 9th house is asking you to keep expanding your beliefs and vision.
Virgo Rising Affirmation:
“I choose the path that aligns with my truth, not my fear. I trust myself to build a life that reflects both my values and my vision.”
LIBRA RISING
7 of Wands
The 7 of Wands is holding your ground against competition or outside pressure, and this week it’s showing up in your career and public life. Venus, your ruler, entering your 10th house Monday is a magnetic moment for your professional image, but the 7 of Wands says don’t let others’ noise shake your confidence in what you’re building. Mars entering your 8th house on Monday is a slow, steady push through transformation, shared resources, and deeper relational dynamics. Tuesday’s Mercury squaring the nodes activates your 9th and 3rd houses, so a belief, conversation, or piece of information may challenge where you’re headed. Mercury trining Pluto Tuesday evening gives that real depth and potential for transformation if you stay open. The Uranus cazimi on Friday is in your 9th house, so a sudden belief shift or unexpected opportunity connected to learning or expansion is possible. Mercury sextiling Saturn on Friday helps you ground new ideas into structure. Venus trining the North Node from your 10th house on Friday is powerful confirmation that your public direction is aligned. The First Quarter Moon on Saturday activates your 12th house, asking you to release what’s been running in the background before you push forward. Sunday’s Sun sextiling Neptune from your 9th to your 6th is a gentle call to let your daily life be infused with a little more meaning and flow.
Libra Rising Affirmation:
“I trust my path and stand confidently in what I’m building. I release outside pressure and allow alignment, purpose, and inner truth to guide me forward.”
SCORPIO RISING
Ace of Pentacles
The Ace of Pentacles is a new material beginning, a seed being planted in the physical world. Something tangible is available to you this week if you’re willing to receive it and act on it with patience. Monday’s Venus entering your 9th house and Mars entering your 7th sets up a week where both your relationships and your higher wisdom are getting activated. The Venus-Mars sextile in the early hours of Tuesday is harmonious for both. Mars in your 7th means a partnership may start moving with more steadiness and intention now. Tuesday’s Mercury squaring the nodes activates your 8th and 2nd houses, so a conversation or decision around shared finances, debt, or intimate resources may come up. Mercury trining Pluto Tuesday evening, with Pluto in your 4th, brings depth and potential transformation around home or foundational matters. The Sun entering Gemini on Wednesday moves into your 8th house, illuminating the areas of depth, transformation, and shared resources for the next month. The Uranus cazimi on Friday is in your 8th house too, so something unexpected could shift in finances or a close relational dynamic. Venus trining the North Node from your 9th house on Friday is pointing you toward expansion as your path forward. The Ace of Pentacles says the opportunity is real. Sunday’s Mars sextiling the North Node from your 7th house confirms a partnership or collaboration is part of what moves you forward.
Scorpio Rising Affirmation:
“I welcome grounded new beginnings with trust and intention. I allow aligned opportunities, supportive partnerships, and lasting abundance to grow steadily in my life.”
SAGITTARIUS RISING
King of Wands Reversed
The King of Wands reversed is charisma and fire energy that’s either scattered, overextended, or being used to perform confidence rather than embody it. This week is asking you to check in on whether you’re leading from your actual vision or from ego and urgency. Monday’s Venus entering your 8th house and Mars entering your 6th sets a week focused on depth and daily discipline. Mars in your 6th in Taurus is asking you to build sustainable routines, not sprint and crash. Tuesday’s Mercury squaring the nodes activates your 7th and 1st houses, so a relationship or a personal identity question may hit a friction point. Something between who you are and how you show up in partnership needs a real decision. Mercury trining Pluto Tuesday evening, with Pluto in your 3rd, brings transformative depth to a conversation or mental process. The Sun entering Gemini on Wednesday activates your 7th house, so partnership energy is a theme all season. The Uranus cazimi on Friday in your 7th could bring a surprising shift in a relationship. Mercury sextiling Saturn on Friday helps ground communication. Venus trining the North Node from your 8th house on Friday is asking you to go deeper rather than wider. Sunday’s Mars sextiling the North Node from your 6th house is affirming that building sustainable daily habits and work practices is genuinely aligned with your path forward. The King of Wands reversed becomes upright when the vision is grounded in something real.
Sagittarius Rising Affirmation:
“I lead from authenticity, not pressure or performance. I trust grounded action, honest connection, and sustainable growth to guide me toward true alignment.”
CAPRICORN RISING
2 of Pentacles Reversed
The 2 of Pentacles reversed is the juggling act that’s starting to collapse. Something is out of balance, and the things you’ve been managing to keep spinning are going to demand a more honest look this week. Monday’s Venus entering your 7th house and Mars entering your 5th is a genuinely pleasant start. Warmth in your partnerships and creative energy is getting a steady boost. But Tuesday’s Mercury squaring the nodes activates your 6th and 12th houses, pointing directly at a health, routine, or behind-the-scenes situation that’s been quietly unbalanced. Mercury trining Pluto Tuesday evening, with Pluto in your 2nd, brings some financial depth and potential clarity around where your money and values are actually going. The Sun entering Gemini on Wednesday moves into your 6th house of work and health, making that area a month-long focus. The Uranus cazimi on Friday is in your 6th house too, so an unexpected shift in your daily work or health routine is possible, and it might actually be the disruption you needed. Mercury sextiling Saturn on Friday helps you structure a new approach. Venus trining the North Node from your 7th house on Friday is a lovely signal for relationships and partnership alignment. The First Quarter Moon on Saturday activates your 9th house, asking for a decision around seeing the bigger picture and your beliefs. Sunday’s Sun sextiling Neptune is a gentle call to bring more ease and spiritual perspective into the daily grind.
Capricorn Rising Affirmation:
“I restore balance by being honest about what I can no longer overextend. I choose sustainable rhythms, grounded priorities, and aligned commitments.”
AQUARIUS RISING
10 of Pentacles Reversed
The 10 of Pentacles reversed is asking you to look honestly at what legacy, security, and long-term stability actually mean to you versus what you’ve inherited or been told they should look like. There may be a family or home situation this week that surfaces this question directly. Monday’s Venus entering your 6th house and Mars entering your 4th sets the week’s focus on daily life and home foundations. Mars in your 4th in Taurus is slow, building energy around your living situation or family dynamics over the coming weeks. Tuesday’s Mercury squaring the nodes activates your 5th and 11th houses, so a creative, romantic, or community matter may hit a crossroads. Pluto retrograde in your 1st gets Mercury’s trine Tuesday evening, which is a deep, transformative moment for your sense of self and identity. The Sun entering Gemini on Wednesday activates your 5th house of creativity and joy, and with Uranus there, the Uranus cazimi on Friday could be genuinely electric for creative expression or a romantic situation. Mercury sextiling Saturn on Friday helps you commit to something. Venus trining the North Node from your 6th house on Friday is about your daily life and health habits being more aligned with your path than you might realize. The First Quarter Moon on Saturday activates your 8th house, asking for a decision around shared resources or something transformative. Sunday’s Mars sextiling the North Node from your 4th house is asking you to build your foundation as an act of soul alignment, not just practical necessity.
Aquarius Rising Affirmation:
“I redefine security on my own terms. I release inherited expectations and choose a life built on authenticity, aligned habits, and true emotional stability.”
PISCES RISING
Queen of Wands
The Queen of Wands is magnetic, creative, self-assured, and deeply in her body. She knows what she wants and she moves through the world like someone who belongs exactly where she is. This card is who you’re being called to embody this week. The North Node is in your sign, and both Tuesday and Friday have major aspects pointing directly at your path forward. Monday’s Venus entering your 5th house and Mars entering your 3rd sets a warm, creatively expressive tone early in the week. Tuesday’s Mercury squaring the nodes from your 4th house creates some friction between your home or emotional foundation and the direction your soul is being pulled. Don’t let that friction talk you out of moving. Mercury trining Pluto Tuesday evening brings depth and transformation to a home or inner world matter. The Sun entering Gemini on Wednesday moves into your 4th house, illuminating home and roots for the next month. The Uranus cazimi on Friday in your 4th could bring a surprising shift or insight around your living situation or family. Venus trining the North Node from your 5th house Friday evening is one of the most personally affirming aspects of the week for you. Your creativity, joy, and self-expression are aligned with your soul’s path. The First Quarter Moon on Saturday activates your 7th house, asking for a decision in a partnership. Sunday’s Mars sextiling the North Node from your 3rd house is the Queen of Wands in action, using her voice, her ideas, and her local world to move toward what she’s meant for.
Pisces Rising Affirmation:
“I embody my confidence, creativity, and presence fully. I trust my path, express myself boldly, and move through life with magnetic self-assurance.”
